Just a suggestion...

But have you considered trying to build on this new-found German popularity by recording an album of power ballads? You could do covers of 'The Power of Love', 'The Wind Beneath My Wings', that song from 'An Officer and a Gentleman' - you know, the classics. Maybe call it 'The Jim Alexander Collection'? "The Alexander Experience'? 'A Man Called Jim'?

Whaddya think? This could be the beginning of something big...

Like the blog, BTW.

Oh no, I didn't want to hurt you I'm just a comics guy"

Of course, with the Hoffmeister, it's not just about the power ballads. It's also his ability to:
1) convey a range of emotions and facial expressions to camera, whilst not once hitting a bum note
2) put the "boo!" into bouffant

What do you think, Jim? Have you got what it takes?
